Reviewing the AMA's 2017 CPT Manual

How do you review the CPT Manual each year? Do you have a cup of coffee or perhaps a piece of chocolate? I don't have snacks while reviewing. However, a highlighter and pen is an absolute must!

While doing the 2017 review, I have found some interesting changes. Today, I will share just one of those changes.

✮ A star symbol has been added to the 2017 CPT manual. This star indicates that the code it parallels can be used for telemedicine services. You can find a list of the telemedicine service codes in the new Appendix P. Telemedicine services can be billed with modifier 95. Have you found anything new? Please post what you have found! I would love to know!

Is this Career for You?

5. Computer literate: Do you know how to use a computer? The basics: attach documents, use word, and etc
