As many of you know, ICD-10-CM will be here this year.  CMS has developed a video that explains the difference between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM.  I have taught ICD-9-CM for the last 4 years.  I have began to teach ICD-10-CM.  Most of my students love ICD-10-CM even more than ICD-9-CM.  With ICD-10-CM we have the ability to be more specific.  People who have not followed the rules in the past will struggle to learn correct coding concepts in ICD-10-CM.
