Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist 


This program will prepare individuals to plan and manage system processes and facilities used to collect, store, secure, retrieve, analyze, and transmit medical records.  

How long is the program? 
This is a 12 week program.  Students will meet once each week and complete a variety of online assignments. 

What textbooks are required? 
The standard CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM Manuals are used.  Students will also need the textbook, Electronic Health Record for the Physicians Office.

What is the fee for this program? 
The fee is $3500.00.  This fee includes the books, online access, and the CEHRS exam.  

What credential will I receive? 
CEHRS is the credential for Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist.  Students will be required to take an exam via NHA and pass with at 72% to ascertain this credential.
